An intensive and practical video course designed to prepare students for the LanguageCert C1 exam through a strategic and realistic approach. The course combines clear explanations, real exam examples and specific techniques to improve speaking, writing, advanced grammar and discourse cohesion.
Throughout the different units, students will work on key structures such as connectors, inversions, conditionals, passives and formal versus informal register, as well as practical strategies for each type of writing task. All of this is delivered through a natural, approachable and highly practical methodology aimed at helping students gain confidence, fluency and a genuine C1 level for the exam.

The course is composed of the following units:
1. How the LanguageCert C1 works and how to pass it
In this video, Elisa explains the complete structure of the LanguageCert C1 exam and how the grading system works. You will learn the difference between the Spoken Exam and the Written Exam, how each module is scored, the options to take it online or in person, time management during the exam, and what happens if you fail one of the parts. Additionally, key concepts such as the modular system and the Take2 option are explained.
2. LanguageCert C1 Spoken Exam: complete structure and how to tackle each part
In this video you will discover exactly how the LanguageCert C1 Spoken Exam works. Elisa explains the 4 parts of the speaking test, how long each one lasts, what type of questions you can expect, and how the interview unfolds both online and in person. You will also learn key tips for tackling the role play, the collaborative discussion, and the final monologue, as well as strategies to sound natural, keep the conversation going, and manage nerves during the exam.
3. LanguageCert C1 Written Exam: how Listening, Reading and Writing work
In this video, Elisa explains in detail how the LanguageCert C1 Written Exam works. You will see how the Listening, Reading, and Writing module is organised, how much time you have for each part, and how to manage the 3 hours and 10 minutes of the exam. You will also learn the differences between the online and in-person format, how the scoring works, and what strategy she recommends to organise your time and make the most of each section of the exam.
4. LanguageCert C1 Listening: the 4 parts explained step by step
In this video, Elisa explains how the Listening section of the LanguageCert C1 exam works and what to expect in each of its 4 parts. 5. LanguageCert C1 Reading: the 4 parts and how to score more points
In this video, Elisa explains how the Reading section of the LanguageCert C1 exam works and what to do in each of its 4 parts. You will learn strategies for true/false exercises, gapped texts, matching questions, and open-ended answers. You will also discover how to locate information quickly, avoid common mistakes, manage your exam time, and improve your vocabulary in a practical way while training with real C1-level texts.
6. LanguageCert C1 Writing: how to tackle the 2 exam tasks
In this video, Elisa explains how the Writing section of the LanguageCert C1 exam works and what differences there are between the two written tasks. 9. The passive voice at C1: how to sound more formal and advanced
In this video, Nacho explains how to use the passive voice strategically to improve your level in the LanguageCert C1 exam. You will learn when to use passive structures, how to form them correctly, and how to apply them in Speaking and Writing to sound more formal, objective, and academic. You will also discover the use of impersonal structures such as It is believed or It has been argued, which are very useful for answering general questions and achieving more natural and advanced English.
10. Conditionals at C1: how to express hypotheses and sound advanced
